Peggy Baxter Founder/President
Emerged from the retirement of her corporate business career, Peggy went back to school several years ago and completed a degree in medical massage. That’s when she discovered a true passion for alternative healthcare and the beneficial affects it has on so many. The creation of this unique therapy center is the path Peggy has chosen as her way to support the lives of others.

In recent times, Peggy managed several therapy centers associated with local acupuncture and massage colleges and universities, where she also served as a board member – with her primary goal to support the internship programs that mentor hundreds of students pursuing careers in alternative healthcare services.

Not only does Peggy want to share her passion for alternative healthcare, she wants to share the knowledge, the experience, and the benefits these alternative therapies offer others. Especially proud to have assembled some of the most skilled professional therapists/educators in the valley, Peggy believes you will appreciate the level of talent that awaits you at this center.

Kathy Bode Certified Clairvoyant
Kathy Bode is a natural born Clairvoyant; spiritualist, and is also part of a team which performs space clearings. This Clairvoyance or “ability” has been passed from generation to generation in her family.

Kathy chooses to utilize her ability to be of assistance those who seek information on a personal level.  With the help of her spirit guides and other abilities, she answers questions, offers guidance and insight. Kathy specializes in love, relationships, career and health just to mention a few.  Kathy is very open, honest and a lot of fun and a delight to spend time with. We invite you to have a conversation with Kathy and gain a unique insight into your world and perhaps even some long awaited answers to your past, present or future questions.

Kathy has recently moved and continues to provide accurate readings via the phone. Kathy will also continue to make guest appearances on a quarterly basis for face to face readings. Kate Burt Certified Doula Instructor, Massage Educator, Licensed Massage Therapist
A licensed massage therapist in the valley since 1994 – Kate began teaching specialty modalities such as Pregnancy, Lymphatic, and Elder Touch, in 2000. In addition to being certified in pre and peri-natal massage, Kate is also certified by Infant Massage USA. With a focus on natural health, Kate also enjoys teaching child birth education to couples and she works as a birthing and post partum Doula. Count on Kate to deliver meaningful therapies and education to enhance the health and wellness of your life and others.

Michelle Calio Licensed Massage Therapist
A 2001 graduate from Phoenix Therapeutic Massage College, Michelle’s studies include a Master of Massage Therapy program with Sports and Spa specialties. In 2005, she joined the staff at Rainstar University as a Licensed Massage Therapist and instructor of spa therapies. With a continued desire to learn new modalities, Michelle also became certified in Thai Massage and Facial Rejuvenation. In 2008, Michelle graduated from the School of Botanical Medicine, becoming a Western Urban Herbalist, adding herbal consultations to her reputable list of services.

Using her herbal and massage knowledge, Michelle blends special therapeutic oils for the purpose of relaxation, relief of pain and nerve regeneration. She integrates her specially blended oils to enhance her massage therapies.Along with her many credentials, Michelle is also a member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals.

Lyn Eden Licensed Massage Therapist
Lyn comes to us with 33 years of experience in the field of massage and bodywork. She’s energetic, knowledgable and gifted. Lyn enjoys teaching and can provide almost any type of modality associated with bodywork. She particularly enjoys her specialties, which are reflexology, reiki, and geriatric massage.

Chris Hardcastle Licensed Massage Therapist
With a healthcare background and personal interest in bodywork, Chris is an honors graduate in Massage Therapy and an experienced professional therapist of three years. Extremely dedicated in her field and committed to continuing her education in a number of therapeutic modalities, Chris provides relaxation and healing benefits to her clients through a variety of integrated techniques. When Chris is not providing massage therapy with a local Chiropractor, she brings her dedication and experience in massage therapy to a-z Therapy Center.

Chris especially enjoys working with the special needs of elderly clients by providing the benefits of Geriatric Massage – as well, she enjoys helping mothers-to-be relieve much of the discomfort and pain associated with Pregnancy. Each massage performed is with the purpose of achieving the needs of the individual client.
You will find Chris to be a nurturing soul, and she is recognized for her loving touch and true concern for her clients. Her specialties include: Deep Tissue work, Trigger Point Therapy, Thai, and Sports Massage, Hot Stone massage.

Kimo (Jimmy) Koo Licensed MassageTherapist
Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Kim earned a degree in Fine Arts from Marymount College in California, and worked for many years as a computer consultant to IBM before pursuing his passion in health and wellness. In 2002, Kim completed his massage training and education at Rainstar University in Scottsdale. He went on to complete a three year program in Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy studying with Dr. Michael Shea.

Kimo is a Registered Craniosacral Therapist with the North American Craniosacral Therapy Association, and is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. His work focuses on Craniosacral Therapy and Swedish massage. You will notice the influence of Hawaiian Lomi Lomi by the flowing strokes and calming techniques of the Craniosacral therapy as it gently moves clients into deep state of relaxation and healing.

Annie Raddatz, LAc, LMT
Involved in the holistic medical field since 1998, Annie completed her studies and clinical internship in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Tiger Waking College of Acupuncture and Asian Medicine, Scottsdale. Along with a Bachelors of Science in Bio-Medicine she also has a Masters of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Facial Rejuvenation, Cosmetic Acupuncture, Weight Loss and Long Term Chronic Illness are of special interest and focus in her practice.

The use of acupuncture to slow the visible effects of aging began in China in the Song Dynasty (960-1279AD). In traditional Chinese medicine it is known as “Chinese Medical Cosmetology” and this ancient practice has long held her interest. Annette has always had a passion for health and wellness lifestyles and conveying that to her patients in a caring and definitive way is her primary goal. Annette is committed to approaching each patient individually and compassionately with a holistic approach to medicine. When not at the office, Annette loves spending time with her delightful toddler and family, working out, cooking, and playing the piano.

Andrea Ward LMT, BCST Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist
Andrea has been teaching the art of Craniosacral Therapy for the past twenty years, while maintaining her private practice. She is passionate about helping her clients discover their unique healing power. Andrea is an advocate for assisting, rather than manipulating the Central Nervous System using Cerebral Spinal fluid and Primary Respiration as guiding factors, so that a treatment plan naturally unfolds. As her clients enter harmonious states of balance, insights are ignited that help regulate wellbeing and health in general. Craniosacral Therapy has entered the mainstream and earned its reputation for being gentle while delivering significant and powerful results. Andrea has helped a wide variety of people through the years. She enjoys looking through a lens of perception that recognizes imprints in which the Central Nervous System differentiates stress from relaxation and dynamically engages resolution. Andrea feels very much at home in the beauty of this work.

Amy Zak-Urban Licensed Massage Therapist
Extraordinary in the field of alternative healthcare, Amy has a special gift for treating children, the elderly, and those recovering from illness – physical and mental. Her treatments focus is Biodynamic craniosacral work and her degree in psychology adds a deeper dimension to the healing process.

Amy’s expansive experience includes work in hospitals with stroke and cancer patients, pre and post-natal moms, post-surgical patients, and infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. She is also a member of the Scottsdale Healthcare Speaker’s Bureau and enjoys speaking on a number of topics associated with complimentary modalities. In her spare time, you can find Amy teaching as a Certified Infant Massage Instructor.

Suzan Bonzo is a micropigmentation specialist also known as a permanent makeup artist.  

Suzan is currently working as The Royal Touch LLC, contracting space at a-z Therapy Center, providing both permanent makeup, and paramedical micropigmentation.  

"My goal is to enhance each client's natural beauty while working in a very safe and comfortable environment. I have incorporated paramedical tattooing in my career. I enjoy being able to give back in many different ways, for those who want to look their best at all times too those who have had the ultimate sacrifice in a mastectomy and need my assistance in creating the areola.  I have been doing corrective work for many clients who have experienced a bad procedure. I am able to camouflage scars that individuals have received from many different situations like surgery or other incidents and recreate their image and self-esteem."

"Helping Women Heal" owner Kit Macy, is an Alternative Healer with over 20 years of experience in the field of energy medicine. Kit began her career in alternative healing as a patient of chiropractic in Los Angeles, CA in 1984. 

It was through her own very personal experience of healing, that she knew her mission was to help other women in their quest for health. Shortly thereafter, she began studying and working with her mentor/chiropractor and continued her quest for knowledge in the healing arts.  Her quest has led to various educational degrees in the fields of Holistic health, Eastern medicine and Philosophy and various spiritual teachings.  Kit now facilitates for women who want to discover their own unique path to wellness.
When our physical body is in pain or distress, our mental and emotional well-being takes a backseat! 

Kit brings a unique brand of holistic energy to her clients to assist women to heal all aspects of their being. She shows how women who heal their physical body can also achieve mental and emotional health to obtain intimacy with Life's experience.
